We are actively engaged in planning issues including, but not limited to responding to applications, working with neighbourhood and community groups to support rural affordable housing, responding to Local Plan reviews and giving evidence at appeals and inquiries. We respond to the concerns of our local communities and provide planning support to parish councils.
The national office planning team also provide general planning support including monthly updates, development of planning guides and regular support via the planning policy inbox.
The team also respond to government consultations and nationally significant planning applications and support groups in responding to both.
We welcome volunteers to help us to carry out our vital work, and we have a number of ways in which you can help, from trusteeship, to monitoring planning applications in your area, researching local issues and supporting our campaigns.
