CPRE Northamptonshire is one of forty-two CPRE (Campaign to Protect Rural England) county branches. We are a registered charity (Charity registration number 1116687) and a company limited by guarantee (Registered in England number 5564879).
We campaign for a beautiful and thriving Northamptonshire countryside, to make it a better place to live, work and enjoy, and to ensure that it is protected now and for future generations. Our work is carried out by our board of trustees and a small band of volunteers, including our technical planning team.
CPRE Northamptonshire, through its technical planning team, provides independent and well-researched expertise on planning issues affecting our county, by monitoring and responding to planning applications and consultations. We work with individuals, parish councils and other organisations, and we engage with the planning system to ensure our views are heard by decision-makers.
