Who We Are
A national charity founded in 1926 and based in London, the Campaign to Protect Rural England sets out to influence policy nationwide on issues affecting the English countryside. There are some 40 county branches sharing the values and aims of the national charity but concentrating more on local issues.
CPRE Northamptonshire is an independent charity focusing on the countryside and green spaces of Northamptonshire. We are non-political and receive no government funding. Members’ subscriptions form the greater part of our income and, with no paid employees, we rely entirely on volunteers to support our work of protecting and promoting the county’s countryside.
